The #TeamIvanka Half-Marathon Strategy

We’re working with Olympic athlete and celebrated coach, John Henwood, to whip our team into shape.

The #TeamIvanka Half-Marathon Strategy We do everything 100%, which is why, when we challenged ourselves to run a half-marathon, we turned to one of the best in the business to train us. John Henwood competed in the Athens Olympics in 2004 and placed 13th in the 2005 ING New York City Marathon. He has been recognized as New York Road Runner of the Year in his age group for eight of the last 10 years. He’s also working to open TheRUN (think SoulCycle for treadmills) in NYC’s Flatiron District, later this winter. Suffice to say, we’re considering ourselves in good hands.
Prior to starting our training regimen, John advised each of us to work ourselves up to running 30-40 minutes, three times a week. Now that our training has officially commenced, we’ll be following the plan below. Are you joining us in the training? If so, download the guide and follow along. Let us know which race you’re running and keep us posted on your progress—we promise to keep you posted on ours!
