Hot Mama: Eva Chen
We're launching a new spotlight series—celebrating the amazing mothers in our midst.
We’re teaming up with Cricket’s Circle to celebrate the amazing mothers in our midst; women who work incredibly hard in—and out of!—the office. For the month leading up to Mother’s Day, we’ve asked some of our powerhouse friends to give us their favorite piece of advice when it comes to parenting. Up first, the woman who is redefining the publishing industry—and blowing up Instagram with her insanely stylish feed while she’s at it. For Eva Chen, shopping is a full-time job. The truly modern editor-in-chief of Lucky (the youngest at the helm of any Condé Nast title) and Chief Creative Officer of The Lucky Group (the new company established to bring the e-commerce part of the business to fruition), was hand-picked by Anna Wintour to make everyone’s favorite magazine about shopping...shoppable. Add in her wildly popular social media presence (her Instagram and Twitter accounts have hundreds of thousands of followers) and newest role, mom to 3-month-old Ren, and it’s clear that this is a woman who gets things done—and looks incredibly chic while doing it. Not surprisingly, her pregnancy wardrobe was highly inspirational and it’s clear that baby Ren will be captivating the street style photographers of tomorrow. “My daughter already has better style than me,” she captioned a recent Instagram photo. It seems difficult to believe, but who are we to doubt Eva?
